  1. I have drunk tea all my life (having English parents, that’s what happens) and I had no idea of all the health benefits. I knew it had antioxidants and they were a good thing, but that’s it, so thank you for another very informative article!! 

    I do have a question about another type of tea, and by the look of this article, your the right person to ask. I was drinking Dandelion tea for awhile as I was told it had regenerative properties, of helped the body regenerate i.e. cells, etc. Is this true?

    •  thank you for reading my post, yes dandelion is known to detoxify the liver and eliminate unwanted toxins from the body.
      Recently, dandelion root has been studied for its cancer-fighting potential, and so far the results appear promising.  A 2011 Canadian Trusted Source showed that dandelion root extract induces cell death in melanoma cells without impacting non-cancerous cells. it also showed that it does the same to pancreatic cancer cells.  Let me give you the link of Sloan Kettering they have a great information about dandelion.

    What a great article on tea and the benefits of drinking it. My mother-in-law was an avid tea drinker. It wasn’t until about six months ago that I began drinking more tea and less coffee. My wife has recently found the joy of tea as well. 

    I think if more people knew the benefits of tea they would drink more of it. There is nothing more that i enjoy in the evening than having my cup of tea and relaxing. Know that I know I am doing my health good too, I can feel good about that.
