Hello, I’m Arlene, a working mother of three adult children and two furry companions. In this site I would like to share my views in regard to health. I like to keep myself fit by watching what I eat. I remember growing up I enjoyed running and playing outdoor games since there were no computer games back then.  As an adult, I was always content with my weight, never skinny or heavy. However, as time passed, I found it increasingly difficult to shed a few extra pounds.

Weight loss can be challenging for many of us due to various reasons such as stress, unhealthy diet, slow metabolism, medical conditions, and lack of sleep.  For me, blame it on my slow metabolism, which tends to slow down as you age.  Now, as I’ve grown older, I find it necessary to keep my body weight in check. At this point in my life, I’m looking for a simple and doable diet plan that suits my lifestyle.

There are many diets available that claim to help with weight loss, but it’s important to choose a healthy and sustainable diet plan. When I go on diet in the past, I’ve felt weak, hungry, and tired all the time. In our fast-paced world, I can’t afford to feel tired. So, I’ve begun looking for a good diet supplement that would help sustain my energy.  That’s when I got interested in the many functions of proteins. 

Protein plays a crucial role in our body’s energy production. Carbohydrates and protein are both essential for the body to function. It is not recommended to completely omit carbohydrates from your diet. Low-carb protein powder provides both the essential nutrients for our bodies, and I will explain more on my next post.

Apart from making protein shakes, I find it fascinating that you can enhance your protein intake by adding low-carb protein powder to your pancakes, cookies, oatmeal, yogurt, and smoothies. There are numerous ways to incorporate low-carb protein powder into your diet that you can explore.

Dieting and taking supplements alone are not sufficient for a healthy lifestyle. It’s crucial to remember that physical activity is equally important, such as doing exercises or working out in the gym. Everyone has their own way of approaching physical activities, so it’s essential to select one that suits you personally.

In my case, I love walking my adorable fur babies, Peachy and Bucky, in the park. This can help us achieve long-term weight loss goals and improve our overall health.
